MARBLING ON FABRIC

Float
colors on water and print the fantastic
swirling patterns onto fabric with colorfast
inks. Gelatin recipes, fabric preparation,
color mixing, traditional and experimental
patterns will be covered. By the end of
the day you'll be making large marble prints
in a jumbo tray. Bring lots of yardage to
print. $20 supply fee. |

Precious Metal Clay Rings (PMC)

?Love that one ring? Have problems with rings fitting your fingers? PMC rings will explore how to make a simple single band ring and then go in to more elaborate ring designs. Including setting a stone and sizing of rings on hard to fit fingers. All tools, materials and handouts needed to complete a fine silver ring(s) will be included in class. Just bring your ideas! |

?Have you ever wondered how potters get those fine detailed images on their pots. Well, wonder no longer we will let you in on their secrets. They’re using fire-on decals and you can too! This workshop will introduce you to Laser Printed Decals fired-on highfired ceramic ware. In the workshop you will have the opportunity to fire your own images and designs on your pieces. So, gather up your pots, handdrawn images, copyright free designs, clipart, photographs, and rubberstamps. Pack a lunch and join the fun. |

A workshop for
curious souls who create kilnformed art glass.
What makes an interesting piece? How do we
know if it is balanced? Rejuvenate your aesthetics
and explore issues and problem-solving exercises
around color, composition, creativity. Emphasis
on the working process. 1st class centered
around different designs; 2nd class geared
towards a finished piece. Glass will be flat-fired
after each workshop. Please bring a 12"x12"
sheet of clear glass and lots of your own
colored glass--Bullseye compatible (90COE)
ONLY. Material fee covers tools, some materials
and handouts This is not a class on "how
to fuse"; it will be geared towards those
with experience. Bring bag lunch. |
