The Sharon Art Stu­dio is San Francisco’s largest pub­lic art cen­ter. Located in Golden Gate Park, we offer arts edu­ca­tion for peo­ple of all ages in ceram­ics, leaded & fused glass, jewelry & metal arts, draw­ing, paint­ing, and mixed media. The stu­dio is an incu­ba­tor of new skills and rela­tion­ships.

The Winter Sale

Join us for the annual Sharon Art Studio Winter Sale on December 10th, where we bring together a fantastic community of artists, each offering their unique handmade creations. By supporting local artists, you invest in the growth of the community and help us continue to promote the importance and beauty of art. Mark your calendars for December 10th and discover the perfect handmade gift that will be cherished for years to come. Please note this event is off site at the San Francisco County Fair Building.

Become a Member

As a member of Sharon Art Studio, you will be able to enjoy early registration before the public, allowing you to secure your spot in our popular art classes. In addition, members receive $25 off each class they take. Registration is simple and can be done online through the San Francisco Recreation & Parks website. Early registration opens for members on December 9th.

Apply for a Scholarship

We offer assistance to eligible San Francisco residents through our Recreation Scholarship Program. Eligibility in our Scholarship Program gives low income residents at least a 50% discount and as much as 100% off program registration. Families can enroll by meeting income level restrictions and by submitting documentation of enrollment in other subsidized programs.
