Victoria Kong

I found the Sharon Art Studio while searching for creative spaces in the area, and the mission of making art accessible to everyone, coupled with its warm, inviting, and creative atmosphere, deeply resonated with me. I’ve long wanted to find a studio where I could both create and give back, and this board position allows me to do just that.

With a background as a chemistry PhD and experience as both an artist and scientist, I bring a unique blend of analytical thinking and creative exploration. I’m excited to contribute my skills in science, education, and program development to help expand how we engage with our community. My favorite mediums are painting and metalsmithing—I love the hands-on process of working with different materials, discovering their properties, and transforming them into something meaningful.
