Jewelry | Metal Arts
I began studying metalsmithing at City College of San Francisco, under the tutelage of Suzanne Pugh, and was instantly hooked into the craft once I learned how to solder. It drove me to set up a home studio, since school time was not enough. I never left the school studio, and eventually became the lab aide, where I got to hone in and work with the craft independently. It had pushed me to become a little bit of a bookworm, and helped me network and meet amazing and talented people.Â
My work focuses on a variety of things, whether it’s a piece of jewelry, flatware, sculpture, or furniture. I make them from scratch, using metal to turn recycled materials into something beautiful.
